Wisconsin Law Journal Features HBS Attorney Richard Coad's Argument Before the U.S. Supreme Court
The Wisconsin Law Journal featured Richard Coad's oral argument in two recent articles. The first was published on October 16, 2007 and was titled "Taking it to the Top: Federal Defenders prepare for appearance before the U.S. Supreme Court."
The article described Rick Coad’s preparation for his first oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court in Logan v. United States. The case centered on felony charges of possession of a firearm brought against James Logan.
A second article "Looking Back at the ride." Attorneys find U.S. Supreme Court oral argument energizing, tiring" focused on Rick's impressions following the oral argument.
Rick recently joined Hurley, Burish & Stanton, S.C. after working for Federal Defender Services of Wisconsin.
